At the Jersey Shore they are numerous vacation spots and is home to Brigantine. Next to Brigantine, which is a Barrier Island,  is the Island of Absecon where Atlantic City is located. Atlantic City has the  famous Boardwalk, exciting night life, new high end casinos and numerous new housing developments like the Osprey Estates in Venice Park, Atlantic City. Then there is Ventnor City, charming Margate and prestigious Longport. Longport is the most expensive area of these three towns. The town boosts oceanfront single family homes, high-rises, multi-million dollar homes or mansions located on the ocean and bay.

Across to the mainland there is Absecon, Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, Northfield, and Linwood, along with numerous other cities that are considered part of the South Jersey Shore Home area.
